McCook Park is a community hub in Newmarket with plenty to offer beyond pickleball. You'll find open green spaces, a playground, basketball court, and soccer fields all in one spot. It's a great place to spend a few hours with family or friends.

The park is open 24 hours, so you can play whenever suits you. There's a barbecue area if you want to cook up some food, and the club canteen serves good value meals. Players appreciate that it's a friendly, inclusive space where people of all ages come together.

Keep in mind the park can flood during heavy rain, so check the weather before you head out. There have been some comments about maintenance improvements needed, but the park has lots of potential and the community is keen to see it develop.

The problem McCook park it’s a nice park electric barbecue fair walk to the toilets they do an upgrade Nice playground They need to do some more improvements. I do see in time The park got great potential as as a good sporting field are great sport they can do more to improve it for one thing that area does flood. They checked the weather if you hear that way need to do some more improvements in the park.

This rating is for the club canteen. I've had some of the best chips and a bacon and egg burger here that was great. Today I discovered the Syrian Chicken and Rice. It exceeded what most restaurants can produce in both flavour and texture - all for $10. If they tell you that it will take 30 minutes to prepare, then please wait - absolutely sensational.

My dogs and I were attacked in this park/soccer club on 16/6/21 by an offleash staffy, while children's soccer practise was on just metres away and in view of the children's playground. I was given false contact information by the owners- council were informed and are investigating but the dog is not registered. Offleash, uncontrolled dogs and their waste is a major problem in this area.

The Park is located in Nexmarket which is a north-western suburb of Brisbane, approximately 5 kilometres from the CBD. The park occupies a green space in a mostly residential area. It's a great picnic area with a barbecue place, playground for the kids, basketball place for teens and soccer ground for all ages.
