Attended a session of social all abilities pickleball hoping for a social, friendly, and relaxed environment. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the experience. This isn’t a reflection of the company or organisers, but rather the overall atmosphere created by some of the players that this place attracts. The group I played with felt incredibly unwelcoming, unfriendly and not particularly supportive of new players who are still learning or of varying ability levels. I wouldn’t recommend this if you’re looking for a relaxed, welcoming, and inclusive environment.

I recently tried to book a pickleball court with Hailey over the phone and was told that only the training courts were available. I specifically asked what the difference was, and Hailey said the court was “smaller and surfaced differently,” but reassured me it was similar to the downstairs courts and that the main benefit was that balls wouldn’t roll into other players’ courts because it’s enclosed. What was never mentioned is that the surface is a rubber-style mat that changes the game completely. The bounce was reduced by roughly 30%, making the ball die on contact. After only five minutes of play, it was obvious the court wasn’t suitable for a normal game, and our session was basically unplayable and unenjoyable. When I requested a refund, the staff insisted that saying it was “surfaced differently” was enough disclosure. But how is the average customer supposed to know that “surfaced differently” means “the ball will bounce completely differently and the game won’t feel like proper pickleball”? If I had been told the bounce would be different, I never would have booked it. Overall, the lack of clear communication led to a bad experience and wasted time and money. If the training courts play significantly differently, that should be clearly explained upfront—not brushed off as “similar.” Clearer descriptions would prevent situations like this in the future.

Great venue, but the noise inside is insane (enclosed space, all hard surfaces, ball on paddle is loud). It's very hard to even communicate the score from one side of the court to the other. Staff, can this be addressed with some noise baffling?

It’s great to have a quality pickleball facility this side of town. The upstairs practice court is best for a casual hit. We would be reluctant to bring our friends for a match and play upstairs. It has limited space at the back and sides of the court, uneven bounce and it’s quite different to the more outside style courts located downstairs. Simple as that and perhaps the hire price could be adjusted accordingly.

Unfortunately like a lot of new pickleball places popping up they are not actually laying the proper flooring for them. This place is yet another example of having a cement slab and then painting a court on top of it. It's terrible to play on, bad for your body and I do not recommend it for anyone, this is before I even talk about their 'upstairs court' which charging to play on that is a joke. It is literally wooden slats with some rubber matting put on top, good luck bouncing a ball up there and if you do, good luck not hitting the pitched roof which is right above you. I had high hopes for this place but yet another dud in the ever growing pop up pickleball places. Update; seeing as they so kindly replied let me just say if it the courts are so painstakingly layed why can you see the cement slab line in them? Why did they feel so hard to play on? As for the upstairs you have to be kidding. The plastic rubber you layed down literally didn’t join up in some points on the court. Anyway my review is a warning to others, they are more than welcome to go try and see for themselves which I can see a few have and left their thoughts already…
