About Bar Beach All Sports
Bar Beach All Sports is a multi-sport facility in the Bar Beach suburb of Newcastle, funded in part by the Australian Sports Commission. The complex at Kilgour Avenue includes courts for tennis, basketball, and soccer, and the club runs pickleball competitions on site. Lights are installed across the courts, allowing play into the evening.
The club hosts pickleball events including gender doubles and mixed doubles club championships with prize money across Opens, Intermediate, and Social divisions. Fundraiser pickleball events in partnership with local organisations also run periodically. The facility is open seven days a week from 7am to 8pm.
For casual pickleball outside of events, contact the club about court availability and whether net hire is possible.
