About Darebin Pickleball Club
Darebin Pickleball Club is a not-for-profit volunteer-run club affiliated with Pickleball Victoria, operating across three venues in Thornbury and Reservoir. Sessions run Monday through Friday with up to 8 courts available, covering morning and evening slots. Indoor sessions are held primarily at Narrandjeri Stadium (281 Darebin Road, Thornbury), with some sessions at Darebin Community Sports Stadium in Reservoir. Wednesday and Friday evenings include outdoor sessions. Thursday evenings are held at William Ruthven Secondary College in Reservoir.
All skill levels are welcome at social sessions. Tuesday mornings are designated for intermediate and advanced players. Session fees are $8 for members and $13 for non-members, booked through the OpenSports app. Non-members can attend social sessions without joining the club.
Membership costs $100 per year for adults ($90 seniors, $65 juniors) and includes Pickleball Victoria affiliation, public liability insurance, access to member-only competitions and early access to events. Competitions include a members doubles tournament and an individual ladder competition run across the year.
