The Jar Pickleball Club in South Melbourne is a dedicated indoor pickleball venue with high ceilings, permanent nets, and a fully stocked bar. The warehouse-style space on White Street is open from 6am most days, with sessions available from early morning through to late evening.
The program covers every level. New to Pickle sessions are for first-timers with all equipment provided. Open Play sessions are structured by level: Beginner, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate, and 4.5+, with rotating partners and no elimination format. A Pre-work Pickle program runs from 7am to 9am. Social events include Ladies Night and Pickle and Prosecco evenings. DUPR-rated competitive round robins run on Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday evenings across several formats including Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, Singles, and Mixed Doubles.
Three coaches offer private lessons and small-group clinics. Club membership from $30 per month gives 20% off court hire and programs, free paddle and ball hire, and priority booking up to six weeks in advance. The Jar app handles all bookings.
