About Ballina Indoor Sports Centre
Ballina Indoor Sports Centre on Cherry Street in Ballina opened in 2019 and houses two international-standard indoor sports courts with spectator seating for up to 530 people. The courts are multipurpose and host a range of sports including pickleball. The venue is staffed and the team is known for being helpful and collaborative.
Parking is available on site at no charge. The centre is open Monday to Thursday until 6pm (extended to 9:30pm for bookings), Friday until 5pm, and limited hours on weekends from 10am to 2pm. The BISC is a Ballina Shire Council venue and part of the Community Spaces network.
Court hire fees and specific pickleball session times are available from the Community Spaces booking system. Check with the centre directly for any regularly scheduled pickleball sessions.

Currently a necessary and welcome holding venue for the hundreds of people unable to occupy their flooded homes. Food, clothing and hundreds of beds and of course the many people providing much needed support. Very proud to call Ballina…
