Unfortunately the courts here are not the even tennis hardcourt surface with predictable bounces that you may be used to. The balls slid quite a bit with a Vulcan ball I had. It was better with the ball they provided which was a type I'm not familiar with definitely not a Franklin and seemed even slower than a Franklin. Even then it was difficult to drive a third shot as the bounce of the ball was just unpredictable. The outdoor netball court surfaces in Newcastle had more predictable bounces and are easier on your feet and knees. If you really want to play on outdoor courts than there really aren't any alternatives unfortunately in the area just be aware you'll need a lot of time to adjust. Otherwise the paint and nets were well maintained but the middle of the net did not seem to dip down to 34" per regulation.

It's a really solid place to visit, I go with my friends often and it makes for a great experience.
