About Avalon Beach Pickleball Association Inc.
Avalon Beach Pickleball Association runs at two venues on the Northern Beaches, giving members access to both indoor and outdoor play. The outdoor venue has 6 courts on the hard courts at Avalon Beach Reserve on Barrenjoey Road, opposite the fire station, while the indoor venue has 3 courts at Avalon Recreation Centre on Old Barrenjoey Road.
The club operates on a membership basis. New players must attend an Introductory Lesson and a Beginner Trial before joining regular sessions, and after one visit as a guest you will need to become a member to continue playing. A host coordinates each session to manage partner rotation and keep play running smoothly. The annual membership fee is $48 plus a one-off $25 joining fee.
Session fees are $6 for a two-hour outdoor session and $8 for indoor. The club has over 300 members and aims to stay at a size that keeps a community feel. All bookings are made through the OpenSports app.

Good to Know
- ▹ Book sessions via the OpenSports app. Walk-ins are not available.
- ▹ Parking at the Recreation Centre is available behind the building via Bowling Green Lane. Woolworths across the road has a 2-hour limit on weekends.
