Pickleball @ NorthShore
North Shore Community Hub, 19 Henderson Dr, Kallaroo WA 6025, Australia
5 Wembley Ct, Subiaco WA 6008, Australia, WA
Lords Recreation Centre is a busy multi-sport facility in Subiaco with standard pickleball courts. It opens early on weekdays (5:30 AM) and stays open until 9:00 PM, so you've got plenty of time slots to choose from. The centre has a solid 4.1 star rating from over 400 Google reviews.
People tend to like the friendly staff and clean facilities here. There's a cafe on site if you want a coffee before or after your game, and the place has a good community feel. Just keep in mind that some facilities at the centre, like the pool, require a membership and have limited hours.
* Hours may vary on public holidays. We recommend calling ahead to confirm.

Was not allowed into the pool in the morning as a one time access. Apparently you need a membership, and pool is only available from 12:30-15:30 each day. Never heard of a pool like this. It is a private pool - not open to the public.

The worst. Don’t go near the place. Super unethical staff, was trying to cancel my week to week membership for 6 months. The gym equipment is often broken. Very crowded. Truely the worst business I have transacted with in Australia.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM REVIEW Our kind attend the Lords' School Holiday Program for a couple of years, and it looks fine. This year, one of our kids turned 12, and was to attend the 1-day program for teens. It turned out to be a disaster: - The groups were mixed together, regardless kids' age. As a result, our younger child ended up in the Teens group; - Apparently, the daily program was not planned really well: the group of 10 were offered the games requiring bigger headcount; - Out of the range of advertised activities, only soccer worked out. No netball, no races, no mini-tournaments as advertised; - The squash balls were not pre-heated, therefore the game was no fun; - Basketball game was not arranged; - Very little attention was paid to the kits who didn't want to play soccer - They've been sitting on the bench, "enjoying the chat" for several hours, while the caretakers were busy elsewhere. Our request for a refund was refused by the Program management. RECOMMENDATION: Avoid attending the Lords' School Holiday Program until lessons are learned and improvements are implemented.
