About Torquay Pickleball Association Inc
Torquay Pickleball Association plays indoors at Wurdi Baierr Stadium on Wadawurrung Way in Torquay, Victoria. Sessions run year-round regardless of weather. All players must book through the Opensports app before arriving; the club does not accept walk-ins.
New players start with a Come and Try session. Once comfortable with the basics, players are directed to Skills Assessment sessions before joining the regular club rotation. Experienced players from other clubs must complete a 15-minute induction with a session host before their first game.
Coaching is offered at three levels: group coaching (up to six players), roving coaching during games, and focused one-on-one or two-player sessions for members who want to work on specific parts of their game. Focused coaching is $40 per hour for members and $60 for non-members. The club has multiple Level 1 accredited coaches and also runs tournaments.
